Seller's Notes:Custom designed & built Rakks aluminum shelving unit with three custom walnut cabinets. Two of the cabinets have sliding glass doors across the top, the 3rd has a matching drawer. The glass doors are dark enough to hide the contents (I kept my cable box, audio and Internet components inside) but translucent enough to allow remote controls to work. The three bottom drawers are deep and wide enough to fit lateral legal files or any other larger storage items. They have custom walnut top panels that create a seamless look. The shelves also include a set of Rakks elegant bookends to prevent items from falling off the outer edges of the shelves. This unit is freestanding -- the vertical poles are all held in place with tension springs -- but the entire unit could be also attached to the wall. The top cubbies each have holes drilled into the sides of them and their backs are open to allow for AV cables, etc. This unit cost over $3400 when built -- I am only selling it because I'm moving and have no room in the new place.
