The padded head rest is extra supportive, and the winged back and smaller armrests offer more shoulder and elbow space. It’s carefully crafted with a solid hardwood frame and runners, and can be converted to a stationary armchair (feet sold separately) when baby grows up. HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Thickly padded and tightly upholstered in 100% aniline-dyed leather. Leather has an aged patina and feels soft and smooth with a glossy finish. Expertly crafted with a kiln-dried hardwood and engineered wood frame and extra-thick padding on the arms and back. Sturdy hardwood runners provide smooth, quiet motion. Solid wood frame uses mortise-and-tenon joinery and is corner blocked for structural integrity. GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which means it’s built to contribute to safer, healthier air. DETAILS THAT MATTER Our experts select durable top-grain leathers that are aniline-dyed to allow their beauty to shine through. Natural markings such as scars and scratches are trademarks of genuine leather. Both texture and color will vary slightly from hide to hide. Over time, your piece will lighten and soften with age and wear, acquiring its own distinct character. Knobs on the front and back of the runners keep the chair stable as you rock or stand up. Add value with extra feet (sold separately) that allow you to convert this versatile piece to a traditional armchair when rocking is no longer necessary.
