Bench is crafted of solid poplar and kiln-dried hardwood veneers, layered over MDF. Crafted of poplar, a medium-density hardwood that’s straight-grained and uniform in texture. MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent color tones that will not be subject to cracking. Finished by hand in a choice of Weathered Pine or Black and sealed with a protective lacquer. English dovetailed drawers feature drawer stops for safety. Plastic glides protect floors.
