Expertly crafted of kiln-dried solid meranti wood with Sungkai and MDF veneers. Crafted of meranti, a tropical hardwood with a long, beautiful grain. The frame and legs are crafted from solid Meranti wood. Meranti wood is a medium to coarse textured wood which ranges in color with a slightly interlocked grain pattern. MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent color tones that will not be subject to cracking. Top, sides and drawer fronts are made of Sungkai veneer over Meranti. Drawers feature English dovetail joinery and metal glides, which ensure smooth motion. Sturdy half-moon safety stops keep drawers securely in place. Drawer pulls are metal with an antique nickel finish.
