The frame and legs are crafted from solid Meranti wood. Meranti wood is a medium to coarse textured wood which ranges in color with a slightly interlocked grain pattern. Top, sides and drawer fronts are made of Sungkai veneer over Meranti. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent color tones that will not be subject to cracking. Drawer pulls are metal with an antique nickel finish.
