DETAILS THAT MATTER Handtufted of 100% PET polyester in India. This product celebrates and preserves artisan handcraft traditions around the world. PET rugs are kid-friendly and can be cleaned with soap and sponge. PET polyester uses less energy to produce, keeps plastics out of landfills and is resistant to stains, fading and mildew. Rug is yarn-dyed – Fibers are treated individually with environmentally safe dyes before weaving to offer vibrant, lasting colors. 5'x8' rug is sourced from 190 bottles of 1.5 liters each. 7'x10' rug is sourced from 190 bottles of 1.5 liters each. A mixture of cut and looped pile adds texture and dimension. Self-bound for enduring quality. Backing is made of 100% cotton fabric with odorless synthetic latex adhesive, which makes it non-slip for added safety. The synthetic latex provides a more durable and flexible backing that reduces odor and extends the rug’s life.
