Frame is expertly crafted of kiln-dried solid mahogany wood; outer edging is made of forged aluminum. Frame is constructed with triangular corner blocking for reinforced strength. Finished by hand with an oil-based Antiqued finish using a multistep process, then sealed with a protective lacquer for moisture resistance, finished on all sides. Drawers feature English dovetail joinery and metal glides, which ensure smooth motion. Sturdy half-moon safety stops keep drawers securely in place. Bottom left side features two spacious drawers for extra storage. Drop down desktop includes two pull out drawers and shelf. Bluff-cut cabinet door reveals one adjustable shelf.
