Fabric I believe was twill. Different colored slipcovers make it easy to change the look of the room based on the season. These are custom slipcovers from Pottery Barn and this couch cannot be used without a slipcover. Easy to wash and keep clean with kids and pets. This couch would be great for a lake house or rental property. Pillows and cushion are down filled which makes this a very comfortable couch. Must follow washing instructions per Pottery Barn and place back on sofa slightly damp for best fit / look. Covers have some wear / a few loose stitches but still look great on. We used a waterproof mattress pad under the bench cushion cover just to be safe with kids. To purchase this slipcovered sofa new with an extra slipcover from Pottery Barn would cost roughly $4000 with tax and freight shipping and take months to arrive as these are custom orders. Smoke free / low-no fragrance / hypoallergenic dog friendly home. Dog is not allowed on couch in our home.
