Our mango wood is sourced sustainably from orchard trees that no longer bear fruit, that would otherwise be cleared to make room for younger, more productive trees. The character of mango wood makes each piece subtly unique in its grain pattern and how that grain appears through its finish. Due to the variable character of mango wood, some panels may appear slightly lighter or darker than others. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew.
