Seller's Notes:This is solid wood - from what I was told about it (by the sales people), I have a thing against veneer furniture so I wouldn't have bought it if it were veneer. It is a two piece unit (each is 32" in height) - you can set the pieces side by side or one on top of the other. I used to have it side by side - along a very long wall. But now, as it is being stored, I have the pieces stacked. There is a wine bottle storage section in the center of the bottom unit and wine glass storage section in the center of the top unit. Then on either side - there are shelves to store whatever it is that needs storing. The pieces have been moved a couple of times, and on the bottom of the back of one of the pieces - there is a bit of damage. I have shown it in one of the pictures - taken while it was being moved (you can see that it is in the moving van - ack!). Just so you know, from the front of the unit, you cannot see the damage to the back. I am not a very skilled photographer - the pictures are not great - sorry.
