Philippe Starck "Royalton" Post-Modern 3-Leg Chair
Product details
Seller's Notes:Our hospitality group is looking to sell 4 Philippe Starck "Royalton" 3-legged chairs. This chair was designed by Philippe Starck for the Royalton Hotel, in NYC, one of the first boutique hotels created by Ian Schrager (of Studio 54 fame). The Italian editor Driade produced the furniture from the hotel for a few years in the late 80s and early 90s. The hotel was entirely revamped in 2007, losing its original decor. These chairs were never produced, and custom made for the hotel, so they are very hard to come across. Comprised of 1 stainless back leg with mahogany wood frame. Philippe Starck "Royalton" 3-leg chair Edited by Driade Polished aluminium, bentwood Italy, Circa 1988 H 33 in x W 22.5 in x D 23 in Seat Height 18 in They are in "good" condition, would be perfect for someone looking to have a staple piece in their home or for a restoration project.
