Seller's Notes:THE COLOR IS A VIVID RED, AND IS BEST SEEN IN THE CLOSE UP IMAGE IN FULL LIGHTING. THE RIGHT EDGE SHOWS BARELY VISIBLE VERY MINIMAL WEAR IN ONE LOCAL SMALL AREA. THE BODY OF THE RUG IS LIKE NEW -THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WEAR. THERE WERE NO PETS OR SMOKERS, AND THERE ARE NO ODORS OR STAINS. THE RUG IS 100% WOOL. THE RUG TYPE IS "KASHIMAR" AND WAS IMPORTED FROM BELGIAN. IT WAS IN MY SECOND HOME UPSTATE WHICH HAS BEEN SOLD. IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF STORAGE ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO FOR USE IN THIS HOME. IT IS APPROX. 40+YEARS OLD AND IS OF A QUALITY NO LONGER SEEN IN PERSIAN RUGS OF TODAY. I HAVE ROLLED IT UP AND TRANSPORTED IT TO MY NEW HOME IN BROOKLYN FOR VIEWING.
