Seller's Notes:This lamp was originally intended for a TV show set 10+ years ago but never used. It wound up in the Production Designer's office on his desk for many years. After the show closed, it migrated to his apartment. Now it's time to find it a new home. The original lamp had a white opal glass cylinder that covered the light bulb. The designer preferred the industrial chic look of seeing the bulb, which emits a soft warm glow that compliments the sleek design. There are a few small imperfections in the brushed nickel and dark bronze finishes on the base, which is appropriately weighted to anchor the clear glass shade. The on/off switch is placed in-line on the power cord, and should probably be updated. All in all, this is a high quality item that is beautifully detailed and very well made.
