Seller's Notes:A highly desirable pair of vintage rattan swivel egg lounge chairs from the 1970s–1980s. Each chair features a generously proportioned egg/pod-shaped rattan frame — a continuous outer hoop with interior vertical slat construction — on a stacked rattan pedestal swivel base. Curved open armrests. Large tufted loose cushions in a tropical floral print. Both swivel mechanisms are smooth and functional. Frames are in good vintage condition. Sold as a pair. The stacked rattan pedestal base is the standout construction detail — concentric rings of rattan pole built into a sculptural cylinder that both conceals the swivel mechanism and provides strong visual grounding for the egg chair above. The vertical slat interior structure of each chair creates a beautiful graphic pattern visible from the rear. The overall silhouette is simultaneously sculptural and inviting — one of the most appealing forms in vintage lounge seating. The original tufted cushions are in a period tropical floral print in cream, sage, and blush tones.
