Seller's Notes:This is the Panama sofa bed in solid oak from the Natural Bed Company, located Sheffield in the North of England (https://www.naturalbedcompany.co.uk/product/panama-futon-sofa-bed/). It retailed for approx. $2,000. It was purchased about 6 years ago and used occasionally as guest bed (once every 3-4 months). Because it was in a guest room and not the living room, it didn't get much use as a sofa. The frame is in excellent, very sturdy condition, and looks as new as it did when we first got it. The 100% organic mattress and cotton duvet were purchased from Soaring Heart Natural Beds in Seattle, WA and retailed for over $1,000 (https://soaringheart.com/collections/futons). The mattress is large and makes for an overstuffed look. Note that while the futon frame is easy to convert to a bed and back to a sofa, it is challenging for 1 person to move and fold the mattress because it is very heavy! The duvet shows a few marks and is in need of cleaning (it is removable). The futon frame measures approx. 69" long x 38.5" deep. It is 19.5" tall (to armrests) and 27" tall in the back (the mattress increases the height in the back approx. an additional 8". From a smoke and pet free home.
