Seller's Notes:I got this item from a friend about ten years ago, whose mother had died and he was getting rid of her fab mid-century furniture. I'm not sure exactly what year it's from, but most of her furniture was mid-century and in great condition. As far as I know, she was the only previous owner. And as far as I can tell, the cabinet was NOT painted to look this way, and this is its original color. There are minor signs of wear, mostly smudges, but it's in great condition and has many many years of life left in it. I used it for files and other storage in a small apartment, and it was wonderful for keeping clutter at bay. I've absolutely loved this piece and I'm sad to see it go, but we need more space in our apartment.
