Made of beautiful oak wood it sits at just the right height (24") to place in front of the couch, or wherever you'd like, and let you sit casually with a coffee and your laptop or to pull up a bench and have 4 people sit comfortably for dinner. It also functions very well as a desk. This table was purchased about 6 months ago and is still in terrific condition. There are a few minor spots where our puppy briefly nibbled at the base, but that is only visible if you're looking for it. Otherwise, it's basically new at a really great price.
