Seller's Notes:This futon has been my tiny-NYC-apartment living room staple for the last few years! I purchased it from Futonland on the Upper West Side in December 2017. It has been primarily used as a couch, though I have slept on it a few times (both pulled out as a full-size bed and in upright form). I had upgraded the mattress to a Gold Bond mattress when I originally purchased it under the assumption that it would occasionally be used for sleeping. The futon itself is the Monterey Full Size Java Futon from Prestige Furnishings. The wooden frame is a dark reddish mahogany color and has no-slip pads to hold the mattress in place. The mattress cover is a medium gray color and can zip on and off to be cleaned, replaced, etc. The futon folds out into a full-size bed. Overall the futon is in good condition. There are a few small nicks in the wood toward the back from moving, but these are not noticeable especially if pushed up against the wall. There are also some small pulls on the corners of the mattress cover from my cat (which I have improved in the past using a de-piller). Unfortunately I am moving and will not have space to bring my futon with me, but I think this piece of furniture would last several more years. Overall I have found it to be comfortable, high-quality, and pet-resistant.
