The work features Mr. DOB, a character created in 1993 who was among the first in a pantheon of characters inspired by the culture of anime (cartoons) and manga (comics) that emerged in Japan’s postwar era and became wildly popular in the 1980s. It's custom framed with a fabric hand wrapped mat. And acrylic.
