Seller's Notes:This is a pair of Poppy swivel chairs by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. These originally retailed for $1,600 each. Nice sculptural form, smooth 360° swivel, high-quality construction, and wonderfully small scale -- great for a nook, or for staging, as they offer high design in a petite package. The upholstery features a contemporary pattern in gold and white, which adds a nice pop of color without overwhelming a space—the look is versatile enough to act as a neutral. The chairs visually light but still have a design-forward presence. The curves break up a room of hard angles very well, and allow the chairs to be discreetly tucked into corners. Structurally, they’re in excellent condition. Swivels work smoothly. The fabric shows light wear, especially at the corners of the arms, but no damage. If you look closely, you can see that the fabric isn't pristine, but both chairs present quite nicely. (Style tip: they look great with a small, round throw pillow in a contrasting color! We used a turquoise round velvet throw pillow on each, and they really popped nicely!). Well made.
