Seller's Notes:Purchased in 1996 from Mill House Antiques & Gardens in Woodbury CT (https://www.millhouseantiquesandgardens.com/), this highly functional 60-inch diameter dining table can seat an intimate party of four, or expand to 102 inches long (with its two 21-inch leaves) to seat a gathering of 10. When closed, the radial cut flame mahogany creates a stunning sunburst effect. The double, contrasting banding of yew burl and satinwood do their best to corral visual motion of that grade. The table and leaves come with a 4-piece custom cover to ensure safe use during larger parties. The table and one leaf are in excellent condition. The second leaf has suffered water damage but is included as the cover allows its use during larger parties. In 1996 the dining table retailed for $7850.
