Seller's Notes:We bought these 5 chairs from a dealer in California with the intention of reupholstering them. After I received them, it was clear they had been reupholstered at least once before, but there was no Knoll label. So I cannot say for sure these are Knoll, though the dealer had claimed they were. But they are definitely Knoll-like quality. The only thing is that the the pads appear to be foam instead of the injection molded foam used by Knoll. It could be that when they were reupholstered, they decided to replace the foam, as sometimes that injection molded foam crumbles. So while there is a possibility they might be, er, interpretations, the frame is solid welded flat plate chromed steel. Upon reupholstering them our cat decided that the scratch post he had wasn't good enough. He preferred DesignTex fabric. He liked each chair differently. Close-up photo is just a photo of one condition. Some are more, some are less, scratched. These chairs are a great buy. The frames are in excellent shape, the chrome is not damaged or compromised. Even with reupholstering them and the price of the fabric, buying these chairs is still less expensive than buying them new. Additionally, am happy to help you select contract quality fabric within your budget. I won't charge you an arm and a leg. We show six in the photo, but we sold one already to an eager buyer.
