This comfortable and stylish lounge chair is the mid-century version of a zero gravity chair. These chairs were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s and were known as the TV chairs. It was an icon of Mid Century Modern design. Marilyn Monroe was photographed by Earl Theisen for Look Magazine "reclining on a contour lounge chair, with photographers." It was manufactured by the Contour Chair-Lounge Company in St. Louis, Missouri. This lounger is upholstered in a faux leather fabric in a rich mahogany color. It has dials on both sides that control the level of recline, as well as the heat and massage functions. It comes with a small head rest cushion and protective covers for the armrests in matching fabric. Sit back and relax in this comfortable beauty while you watch TV or read your favorite book.
