Mid Century Modern Secretaire Hutch With Low Boy
Product details
Seller's Notes:I bought this handsome beauty from a 1st Dibs dealer in Massachusetts about 7 years ago. It is a work horse of a piece and can play all the parts: china hutch for a dining room, secretaire desk for an office or bedroom, dresser for clothes in a bedroom or huge closet, or if in an NYC apartment, all things one. A definite Big Bang for its buck. Check out all the nifty storage configurations in the photos. It was made by Drexel in the late 60s early 70s. Design is attributed to Barney Flagg. It is in wonderful condition, very sturdy, and there are a few very minor scratches customary for its age. It is in two pieces which makes transporting it easier. For safety of a child who may climb, I had one drill hole and a L shaped bracket attached to the top, unseen to the human eye because of its height. You can chose to use that or not, see photo.
