Mid Century Danish Modern Teak Credenza Sideboard
Product details
Seller's Notes:Magnificent and rare Danish design sideboard designed by: Ib Kofod-Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik in the 1950s. An exceptional solid sideboard/credenza in warm teak wood. The sideboard has four drawers with soft edged handles. The top drawer has the original felt inlay for silverware. There are two beautifully crafted tambour doors that slide seamless to the side to reveal three original shelves. It's a very large stunning piece with plenty of storage space. The credenza overall is in good vintage condition for its age and use. Front, sides and back of the piece are in great condition. The tambour doors slide well and the drawers slide easily. There is an ink stain on the original felt inside the top drawer. There is one mark at the top drawer face and a few dings on the front edge. The top of piece has water stains and is in need of refinishing which can be done very easily by a professional restorer. This piece is a real gem from Denmark and perfect for any midcentury / Danish design enthusiast.
