Seller's Notes:This piece is old (I am guesstimating the age at approx. 75 years) It was made in the lost wax method which is common for African art pieces. I do not know what the metal is or from which region in Africa it is from. My fiancé made approximately 35 trips to Africa and brought back many pieces which we sold or gave away. The entire collection was appraised and valued at a substantial amount. This piece is undervalued on this site because I do not want to pay to pack it and move it out of state. It is over 5 feet tall. I've kept some smaller pieces for myself which I display in my apartment and outside on the patio. This particular piece has weathered over time. Some small pieces being missing. The purpose of this piece was to scare away evil spirits from the tribe.
