The low-profile silhouette and refined hardware are characteristic of Harvey Probber's 1950s/60s design vocabulary. At 27"W x 29"D x 27"H with a 15" seat height, the chair is compact and low — a piece that works as well in a corner as it does as a room anchor. Original tufted upholstery is in remarkable vintage condition with no major stains or tears. Frame patina and minor scuffs are honest to age; original ebonized finish retained.
