MCM Round Dining Table with Six Chairs
Product details
Seller's Notes:MCM Round Dining Table with Six Chairs This is a vintage table from the 50s, by the Morris Furniture Company of Los Angeles. The chairs are stamped as such but the table does not have any makers marks. The table is round, measuring 42 inches in diameter. There is also an 18 inch extension that can be added easily to accommodate for more dinner guests, making the table 60”inches in length. The table top is 27 inches tall. This is a well designed table, with a walnut frame, and a white formica inlay. This not only makes it stylish, but helps as a practical way since the formica can be easily cleaned. Another design feature is that the legs can be removed for transportation, with a pin and rail locking mechanism that works easily and securely. Six chairs come along with the table, and all are in excellent condition, featuring walnut frames with white vinyl seat covers that are very comfortable. Dimensions: 20 inches wide by 19 inches deep, by 32 inches high and 16 inches to the seat. Each chair is stamped (see the details in picture). Please note, one of the chairs is upholstered in a shinier vinyl than the remaining 5. This could be used as your captain’s chair when using the table with the extension. The difference is not that easy to spot, but it needs to be disclosed. Although this comfortably seats six, it is a compact size at five feet in length even with the extension
