Seller's Notes:Luceplan no longer makes this floor lamp model. (They still produce the pendant lamp version.) The elliptical structure of its outer casing, composed of blades, serves simultaneously as a non-dazzle screen, a reflector of the central light source and a heat dissipater. Five pairs of polycarbonate interchangeable filters determine the varying colours of its lamellar body. (Yes, the set of interchangeable color filters - red, yellow, green, blue and purple - is included. We photographed here with one blue and one yellow.) We replaced the lightbulb socket, the wire that comes out of both ends, and the switch (on floor). Please see photos: The 3rd to last photo is the repaired wire on the floor. The 2nd to last photo shows the fixed wire at top and the new light bulb socket -- with blades removed to gain access. The last photo shows the blades in place. Our solutions were perhaps not the most elegant, but the lamp still works great. It illuminates very well. If you are handy, you could always improve on our fixes.
