Seller's Notes:We are the second owners of this handsome modern apartment-scale sleeper sofa. Its profile and metal legs give it a bit of a modern feel. The arms are on the thinner side, so it feels somewhat compact. Overall, a very high-quality (and heavy!) piece of furniture The original owners had it custom made through Lillian and August in Chelsea NYC. The leather color is Lucia Smoke (Grade L6). It’s a medium gray with an ever-so-slight lavender tint - very sophisticated. The queen mattress is a Tempur-Pedic. There are no weird springs or bars and it’s fairly solid/stable as a bed. (This is probably what makes it so unexpectedly heavy.) When fully open, the sleeper is ~85" deep. The leather is in fairly good condition. We have a small dog who sometimes likes to lounge on the sofa, so there are some minor scratch marks. We have a few other pieces of leather furniture and have found any scratches tend to fade with time/use, or after application of some leather conditioner. There is a small minor stain on the mattress near the head end. Not sure what it’s from; it came to us like that. :-) The original owners did not smoke and had no pets.
