Facett sofa set has many prestiguous design awards with the main one - Red dot award: product design 2005, 'red dot: best of the best'. Among other well known international awards are Interior innovation award cologne 2005 'Best of the Best'; if product design award 2006; ICFF editors award 2005; nomination for the Designpreis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland 2006; Wallpaper* Design Award 2005. " "The sofa Facett, design by Ronan Bouroullec and Erwan Bouroullec for Ligne Roset is a sofa with minimal design and extremely fine in detail. The monolithic form which recalls the cutting and shaping of a stone or the complex folds of origami are embellished by the stitching which makes the three-dimensional surface. Three layers of criss-cross panels and thermoformed polystyrene, overlaid with polyether foam. Invisible feet in black polythene. Suspension of seat via elastic webbing. Integral seat cushion in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam. Integral back cushion in Bultex foam. Lumbar cushion in Bultex foam with removable cover.Cover quilted with polyether foam in 5cm wide bands. Single stitching for quilting; highlighting in twin needle stitching. Covers are held on by zips and velcro, and are fully removable." NOTE: this sofa is in perfect, as new condition, as it has been in a mostly unoccupied apartment for the past year while we have been overseas. It has been listed here as 'New' rather than 'Good', because the 'Good' option states "minor blemishes that most people won't notice". Since there are absolutely no blemishes to speak of, we have concluded that 'New' is a more accurate description, although it is not in original wrapping or packaging.
