Seller's Notes:This is a modern petrified wood chair from a tree trunk first purchased from ABC Carpet and Home about 10 years ago. It is very comfortable to sit in. It is in perfect condition and a unique chair.
"Conch" chair in Madre Cacao wood by Alex Cayet, France, contemporary. Philippine Madre Cacao wood from fallen trees to avoid impacting on the natural forests. On arriving in the artist's studio in France the wood is seasoned further, worked by hand and finished with a natural wax to give it a deep lustre while still keeping as close to its original nature as possible.
