Seller's Notes:A generous size Victorian revival dresser with mirror - these are also called bureaus, oddly - in what I believe is mahogany wood. A lovely rich color, highly polished. Part of a bedroom set (the matching chest of drawers is listed separately. A combination of detail in the oval-mirrored top and simple lines for the bottom. All original hardware; the mirror is bevelled, in perfect condition. Acquired approximately 50 years ago, it is in very good shape. There are many different sizes of drawers - some roomy and deep, others smaller for all sorts of possessions. Not sure of the brand. The measurements are 65 W x 34.5 D A and 19 H to the top surface and approximately 42 - 43 inches from floor to the top of the mirror. The signs of wear I can see are fairly minor. There is very slight darkening of the wood at floor level, a small dent or discoloration on the top surface, and another near a drawer. There is a bit of wear on the top surface, a little dirty at one of the corners, and with some discoloration on the edge, some small marks at the sides. Mostly, it needs a thorough cleaning, especially in the creases of the wood. Most imperfections would probably disappear with a good polish. Please check the pictures. The difference is the color is because the wide angle picture was taken in daylight, and the rest with electric light. Please note that the polished wood top reflects a lot, so it is impossible to take a pictures without some shadows and reflections, these are not imperfections. Of course, there is some difference in the coloring of the wood, as is always the case with a natural material.
