Seller's Notes:This is a large, antique mirror from the EastLake movement. Circa 1850 - 1900. The piece is worth up to $1300 with restoration. Priced to sell. Mirror only, may require hardware for hanging. The glass is clean and clear, apart from one black mark (see images). For the sake of taking images, the glass has been blurred in all but one picture. In-person, the glass is in good condition consistent with age, with no cracks or chips. Overall size (approx): 46” W x 46” H x 6” Glass size: 38.5” W x 25” H Crown (approx): 22” W x 14” H The overall appearance is very impressive with minor wear. Up close, you can see some scratches and signs consistent with age. Please review all images. The Eastlake movement was a nineteenth-century architectural and household design reform movement started by British architect and writer Charles Eastlake (1836–1906). The movement is generally considered part of the late Victorian period in terms of broad antique furniture designations.
