Seller's Notes:In his purist approach to architecture and design, Eero Saarinen sought the essential idea and reduced it to the most effective structural solution. One of the most exemplary examples of which is the one-legged design of his Pedestal Collection. These effortlessly majestic pieces came from his desire to eliminate the confusion caused by “the slum of legs” underneath typical chairs and tables. The Pedestal Table, and accompanying Tulip Chair, have since become symbols of mid-century modern design and mainstays of the Knoll design legacy.

The KnollStudio logo and signature of Eero Saarinen are stamped into the bottom of the base or underside of the table top (varies by model) Choice of marble, granite, quartz, slate, wood veneer, or laminate top.
