Seller's Notes:Risom Side Chair Jens Risom 1943 Jens Risom's designs were the first pieces conceived for and manufactured by Knoll. Due to wartime material restrictions, the side chair was originally constructed of simple maple frames and discarded parachute webbing. Described as good, honest furniture design, the collection helped establish Knoll as an early source of modern design in America. The chair Frame is Ebonized Maple with cotton webbing( color flax cotton) -one of the chairs front legs were cracked as you can see in the picture but repaired. Please note that the one chair that was repaired can be repaired even better but since I'm not using them I decided not to. Other than that the other 5 are very good with normal were.
