Seller's Notes:Set of four Chrome Cantilever Chairs with Black Leather by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, 1927. The MR Side Chair in Black Cowhide features belted leather to create a hammock-like sitting experience. The natural tones of the cow hide leather stand in stark contrast to the chrome frame. Brand new from Knoll, modern versions of this chair retail for $1561 each plus 13 weeks shipping.(would prefer to sell as set). They are in excellent vintage condition with very little signs of age on the black cowhide leather and no rusting at all. Rarely used they and the table were kept at our Summer house which we are also getting rid of due to the move. The MR dining chair was designed in 1931 by Mies van der Rohe and produced by Knoll at the time.
