Seller's Notes:I bought this Le Gourmand butcher block kitchen island at a great second hand store in western Mass. I wouldn’t be selling if it fit in my new apartment. It has 3 drawers - 1 shallow one, good for napkins or an oven mitt, and 2 deep wire drawers. It also has a knife block on top that holds up to 8 knives, and a removable cutting board that lifts up to reveal a compost bin. It is on caster wheels and moves easily but can also be locked in place. There were already stains on the surface, which I’ve photographed. It also looks like it used to have a lower shelf, but one piece of hardware is missing (and the shelf). These can be remedied, but that is why the price is kept low. The island is overall in great shape and has many more years use in it. It’s still a beautiful, well-built, and functional piece!
