Seller's Notes:My uncle was a master carpenter and built this as a gift for me. My Dad and I lined the whole interior - including top with cedar. Heavy and can withstand an Irish jug being done on it. Not safe as a toy box as top is heavy. Great window seat and have green cushion for top. No marks or blemished. Has large caster wheels and moves easy. Has hinges on sides but top is heavy so use wood molding to keep open, hinges do not hold because hope chest is beyond sturdy. …. Welcome to have green cushion
