Seller's Notes:We had this bed hand made by Karges Furniture in NC (http://www.karges.com/) about five years ago, but are upgrading to a king size. Custom silk upholstery, in excellent condition. We added an extra steel beam and more wood slats across the bottom so that it works without a box spring. In the photo, it's shown with a box spring, but we've been using it without to make it easier for our daughter to climb up. Mattress not included.
