The base is constructed from Jardan's Raw Oak. It is in excellent condition. Jardan is a family-owned Australian furniture company founded in 1987 by two brothers—Nick and Mike Garnham—who are committed to producing pieces that evoke the ease of Australian living. Working with a team of craftspeople in Melbourne, the company makes sustainable and stylish furniture (their manufacturing process is endorsed by the Green Building Council of Australia).
