It is about as authentic as you can get without paying $9000. Side by side, this chair and the Fritz Hansen chair is indistinguishable. The stitching, the form, the overall proportions are not a cheap knock off version. Reclines with adjustable tension and swivel. Fabric is 100% cashmere commercial grade fabric in a black. Purchased for an office project that was cancelled.
