Depicting elegantly dressed gentlemen seated in a armchairs, reading. Detachable ivory colored heads and hands holding the books. Heads can be turned from side to side to 'read'. Mounted on black marble. Stamped on back: J.B.H. Co. J. Ruhl. J. Ruhl designed these for J.B. Hirsh.
