It is extremely comfortable, soft and plush yet holds you up right. The bench cushions give it a sleek look and also makes it a comfortable nap couch! Dimensions are 94"L x 84"L (bumper) x overall height 33'x seat height 17"x seat depth 37". The fabric is velvet in Fawn color which reads as a warm and glowing light brown. The color looks great with most colors. The bench cushions gives The sofa is brand new out of the packaging and has not been used. We bought it for an office but it's a little too small for the space as the office is quite grand. We LOVE this sofa, absolutely no complaints other than it was the wrong size and sadly the next size up doesn't work either.
