Seller's Notes:Wood (in beech color) extendable dining table with 1 extra leaf, seats 4-6. Goes from 61 to 82 5/8 lengthwise. Concealed locking function prevents gaps between top and leaf and keeps the extra leaf in place. The extra leaf can be stored within easy reach under the table top when not in use. I've never actually used the extra leaf, so it is brand new. I just sanded the table and oiled the table, so it looks as close to new as possible. Age with time/age, there are some signs of aging as shown in the photos. There are small cracks in the wood on the top piece, and there is one stain/discoloration from water that spilled from flowers. I used a hand sander to get some of it out, but would imagine with some additional love with a hand sander, that would come out even more so. This table is great for entertaining, and I use it as my work station/desk as well. I'm only getting rid of it as it is too big for my apartment and with a baby i need something round. The table top will need to be taken off to get table in and out of both apartments. It is very easy for aptdeco to take off and put on once delivered. On 2nd floor, just 1 flight up.
