Seller's Notes:This TV/storage unit, part of Ikea's higher quality Stockholm collection, matches our 7ft double book case, also for sale. The two center drawers have a soft-closing function and close silently and softly on their own when the drawer is within an inch or so of closing. The shelves on the interior are adjustable to two different heights (or completely removable if you need one of the spaces for a larger item as we did). They are covered by slats that tilt up and then slide back horizontally, so you can choose to keep your media visible or hidden, based on your preference. The interior usable space is roughly 16" deep and 9.5" high. There are two round openings at the base of the shelving units (one in each) hidden in the interior corners that allow you to lead cords and cables between the shelves and/or hide them underneath. We also installed Ikea's Signum cable management system to the underside (easily removable and we'll be happy to do it for you, if you prefer) to keep cords tidy and out of sight. We haven't moved the unit since we first assembled and installed it against the wall. There are a few minor scratches and dents from everyday use that I've photographed here. Otherwise the unit is in excellent condition. You can also use the stand as a room divider, since the back of the unit looks like the front - no particle board backing here. Original assembly instructions included. We are selling our furniture in preparation for a cross-country move. Ours is a smoke- and pet-free household.
