Seller's Notes:We are moving and this is our Ikea Stockholm bookcase -- beautiful walnut veneer. Unlike other Ikea bookcases, the back is of real wood veneer, not paperboard. The shelves are very strong and do not bend even under the weight of heavy books. 7 shelves per section, two fixed, five movable. The sections connect into a single unit, with single vertical elements holding the shelves on both sides. This makes for a beautiful unit that nobody can believe is from Ikea. But it also means that this unit must be disassembled to remove. The best way to see how the unit works (and why it looks so good once assembled!) is to look at the instructions, which you can find at http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_US/customer_service/assembly_instructions.html. Search for "IKEA STOCKHOLM BOOKCASE 28X87". The backboards have about six 2" round plugs cut out of them for outlet access. The plugs can be put back into place to minimize the appearance of holes. Minor scratches and such from 8 years of careful use - but this is in fine condition and has been well cared for. This will, of course, be disassembled for you.
