It can be used as a basic kitchen island then has two foldout pieces; 1. A small table and 2. an extension of the top of the kitchen island. It also has a small area for cutting boards or silverware.

Items often used are best kept on the upper shelf. The high side can serve as a workspace for preparing food or as a bar table for chatting and socializing. Made of durable solid pine.
