Bought this item in 2019 for my first apartment, it was great for the limited storage there. Fairly easy to assemble, never had a problem with the mechanics of the bed. Moved in 2021, easily disassembled it and moved it into our new condo, have used it for the last 4 years here no problem. No pets, no kids, no smoking. Over time, the pull tab to lift the mattress to access storage area has ripped a bit, picture included. Also small mark on the interior floor panel. Now, we are moving again and would like to upgrade to a king bed.
This bed gives you spacious storage without taking up more floor space. Simply flip up the bed base and hide your things inside. Place it freestanding or with the headboard against a wall.
