Seller's Notes:Not new but not quite yet 'vintage', this robust veteran brown leather 2 piece sectional is a classic from one of IKEA's more-lamented discontinued lines, Kramfors - as attested by the # of sites catered to maintenance, accessorizing & replacement of both fabric & leather covers. I can trace its provenance to a good friend/old roommate of mine who bought it in the mid aughts at a high-end used furniture store. It spent a short time in a very 'college' atmosphere where it accrued much of the wear/tear/cosmetic splotches it now wears, before sitting in an NYC apartment for a few years almost entirely unused, save regularly scheduled cleanings. For the last year or so, I have happily used it as secondary seating in my apt, but having recently been obliged to add furniture like a full desk & more bookcases I simply can no longer comfortably accommodate the size, in any formation, of this still slickly sturdy & hardily comfortable leather sectional. While true near-new versions of this piece regularly sell for $500-$750 on these sites, the range of cosmetic imperfections, visible upon inspection of this piece - like a few flecks of paint on the side, a less-than-perfectly repaired tear or frayed seam, or a dime sized spot of some old dried stain on the armrest that's visible in certain lights like an old fingerprint - means our ask can't/won't be quite at that level. However, cosmetics aren't everything, especially when a brand new leather cover is a click away, & so it's also worth noting that the relatively light level of usage for most of its life means that in terms of cushion or structure wear, this piece is 'young' with many years of comfort ahead & so perhaps a good value option for those looking for quality adaptable multi-person/position leather seating.
